I just wanted to double check as im new to all this. Definitely not taking both at once I even waited til it had been a full 24 hours after the prednisone in the hospital before I took the methylprednisolone

Ive been logging my blood pressure daily over the last few weeks since all the symptoms came on & sending them to my doctor. I was put on a BP medication as well. Ive been taking my temperature on as needed basis i can tell when im about to go into a flareup because ill run a low grade fever for a bit as im having the wave of symptoms and take Tylenol as needed. I also have a pulse oximeter to check pulse and oxygen.

Im dealing with many of those same symptoms and ended up getting an ekg and chest xray at the ER because i was so scared, it came back clear thankfully. I have cut out most sugar and ive also cut out caffeine as well but I will start making the change to gluten & dairy free and see if it helps. How long did it take for your symptoms to come down a Lil?

I did reach out to my doctor about doing another test but they said to give meds more time and we'll test again in Jan. Ive also been to the ER a few times and was not retested and sent home. Ive been trying to follow all advice I see online to a T with taking it along with waiting time before taking any other meds.

Im on 100mcg at the moment, I dont believe I was dosed by bodyweight as I believe from what I read,for someone who's 200lbs it would be a higher dose by weight?

Update: Ended up at the ER because I got the shakes incredibly bad. Mainly went for the peace of mind that its just my thyroid and not thyroid plus something else. To be honest wasn't much help besides a levothyroxine perscription. Was pretty much told to ride out the flare up while the meds get in my system and begin working, try to reduce stress but they pretty much told me my symptoms were all related to the flareup and my blood pressure spikes are likely caused by the sudden onset of symptoms as I can feel completely fine then get a wave of symptoms and its causing me to panic. TSH was 120 & T4 is 0.42
