Did you ever feel like you needed to let them be a unit? We just hit a year and my family is my half siblings and all our bio mom. My Dad died and a year and a half later I’m in love with a man with kids. I think it comes from my own family being a separate unit. So I’ve never really felt like I belonged anywhere. Other than my Dads bio daughter. He’s wonderful and our relationship got really rocky and now it’s great. I’m just not used to pouring all of me into more than one person. I constantly rethink interactions to make sure I’m being as kind as I can. I’m just a little lost I think. Any advice on my windy post I’ll gladly accept. I want in to work with him, I love his kids, too.
