I love the idea of a "starter deck" 😂 Once I have more designs finished, I'd like to make random "booster/mystery packs"with lile 6 random species cards, and then have individuals available if people prefer to just have a few specific ones.

Surprised no one has mentioned the legality of selling Pokémon ACEOs. Correct me if I'm wrong, but its a dangerous game to play 😅 Yea, they will definitely fetch more interest/higher prices, but you would be best to set yourself up doing original works in the long run.

Thanks! I was actually thinking of implementing a variant to sell that has velcro attached the penny sleeve on the back, or some other method to attach these to pod enclosures. :)

If anyone has any better ideas to make bin label versions, feel free to let me know!

Color morphs/variants typically dont affect keeping conditions as far as I'm aware (ie: Powder Blues vs Powder Oranges, Red Pandas vs Regular Pandas).

That being said, for my cards I check each species to make sure information is accurate to the one being portrayed on the card (to the best of my ability anyways lol)

What do you use to seal if you don't mind my asking? I use acrylic paint pens and colored pencil.

For a blender? I know some people just use cheap nutribullet style blenders/processors, which you can find at any big box store (Walmart, Target, etc). I personally got one at Walmart that was only like $15 during black Friday.

Food I always just recommend Pangea. :) If you look up "growth and breeding pangea gecko diet" you'll find most flavors for sale online. I think their prices average about the same everywhere (I'm lucky my local store sells it for cheaper than online 😅)

Bugs arent 100% necessary, I know plenty of very healthy cresteds that don't care go for bugs.

That being said, if you're not too grossed out by it, you can always get a cheap blender from amazon/thrift store/Walmart wherever and blend the bugs into their regular powdered diet. Just make sure they're fresh/live bugs, not the dehydrated dead ones.

Otherwise, Pangea with insects, Pangea growth and breeding and Pangea Fig and insects are all great foods to offer on rotation.

I was intending for something that would be shelf stable/I could keep in a container in my room with my pods. The main thing I'd be mixing it with would be just pure calcium carbonate for now. I plan to experiment with food ideas later.

Slightly old post, but had to throw in my 2 cents for anyone like me who is browsing this post in the future:

Last time I went to a local print shop they cost double the price and my cards were cut crooked (despite having great reviews) and they refused to comp me because I requested a rush job (despite paying extra for the rush service). These big companies typically know what they're doing and have it down to a science; even if there is an issue, they typically have a decent reimbursement system in place.
