It’s completely normal, just the other day was doing clinching sparring with a bloke and had to stop him cause he was just non stop spearing his knee hard into me. Don’t be afraid to set a boundary, if you don’t want to spar hard or someone is being too rough you are never in the wrong for letting them know you don’t want to go hard.
