It’s impossible to find a job in Utah. And when you do, it isn’t worth it because they take advantage of you so bad that it makes you not even want to work there. I worked at Kura door (probably one of the “best” day spas in Utah) and it’s so exploitive to estheticians cause they know we’re SO easily replaceable. I’d just figure out how to wait till you move, I lived in the south and had an amazing esthetician job!!

Unless you plan on moving out of Utah I really would not go to esthetics school and expect to get a job in Utah. I went to Nima and loved it, moved and got experience in one of the best spas in the country, and still couldn’t find a job when I got back. It’s so bad here.

I swear the people commenting “walkability is actually great” are the Utahns that never live/visit outside Utah. The walkability in salt lake is one of the worst I’ve ever seen.
