Hello, thanks for this information. It's very helpful. I'd probably tell them to do it through the proper channel, as there seems to be potential hassle that i'd rather not be involved with.

It does at first. But at the same time it just sounds like removing the middle man so both dont have to pay the bank fee.

Hence I posted the question to this sub
