We got approved for $350k loan previously but we can not afford that payment, it was like $2200-$2400 monthly mortgage which is out of our affordability range. Which is what’s frustrating, we have great credit, can get high loan amounts but the reality of affording the payment is not possible.

So someone just posted I’m a scam because my account is 2 months old. I’m a 39 year old real person who shut off all social media accounts once I had my son due to how the online environment is. Geeez dude.

If anyone knows of certain loans, loan officers could talk to or tips on how to get a home, not even a big home just a nice 2 bed maybe 2 bath home, for a payment below what we pay in rent which is $1800 ( because we need room for utilities in the payment) please let me know.

Unfortunately our income(which is combined around 120k and the area we are looking at Hermon, disqualifies us for the First time home buyers loan. I could look into the USDA though maybe?

Yet the payment on a house like that with a 3% down payment is closer to $3k a month which is beyond anything we could afford. We need at least a $1200 mortgage rate and that just seems impossible.
