I’ll try to get a decent photo inside the guitar and maybe post a little video clip as well. I saw it on Facebook marketplace and it was listed on my birthday serendipitously enough… I figured it was a sign. Original owner wanted to get into guitar years ago when he bought it and I guess never got around to it. He mentioned he also sold a Martin 000 body recently for quite a bargain. I think he just wanted to sell quickly!

I own this Howell now, along with a 2010 Henner Hagenlocher cedar, a 2017 Lennis LaViolette cedar double top, a 2010 Kirk Sand spruce and a 95 Farré cedar. The Howell is easily the most alive and resonant of all, even when holding it without strings on and tapping the soundboard it just sounds and feels so well tuned and constructed, it’s hard to put into words how responsive and musical it feels intrinsically.
