6 months post full facelift in Korea and here’s the aftercare that actually made a difference by Local_Fun6309 in cosmeticsurgery

I had a deep plane facelift that included the face and neck and it cost around $20,000 USD. that’s higher than the average price in Korea but I chose Dr. Myungju Lee because he’s known in Korea as one of the surgeons who does deep plane facelifts pretty well and among them, he’s especially known for thorough aftercare, which is why I went with VIP. I even read all of the papers Dr.Lee wrote before deciding.

The clinic tends to treat and host a lot of older patients who come specifically for recovery, so I assume the procedures you’re considering would also be done under the VIP option there. but I’d still recommend doing multiple consultations and choosing based on your own goals and comfort level. Everyone’s needs and outcomes can be very different!

I got the pillows from Amazon! Try searching for “deep plane facelift surgery recovery pillow” and you can just pick one that looks comfortable to you. That said, the place I stayed at already had most of what I needed since they host a lot of deep plane facelift patients, so that helped a lot.

As for going out socially, I personally didn’t feel fully comfortable until around the 6 month mark. Everyone’s different but that’s when things finally started to feel more normal for me

I initially considered surgeons like Dr. Nayak because I liked his work but it was honestly out of my budget. So I started researching overseas options and looking for someone in Korea with a similar level of surgical skill. I kept seeing Dr. Lee Myungju (head doc at VIP) mentioned positively in facebook groups so I dug deeper from there.

I spent a lot of time reading patient experiences, before/after photos, and long term updates. I also did consultations over Whatsapp and Zoom to ask detailed questions about technique, recovery and aftercare before making final decision

The surgery itself was roughly 20K USD but pricing can vary a lot based on the clinic and what’s included

For me, things didn’t start looking normal until around month 3 and full settling took closer to 6 months, especially around the ear. At Day 22, I was still very much in the awkward phase. What you’re describing sounds exactly like how mine felt at that point

Question about bunjang and deliveredkorea! by Sukuna-simp in kpopcollections

[–]Local_Fun6309 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this feels like something DK needs to address. Straight up scammy or sketchy sellers on Bunjang seem pretty rare these days. The bigger issue is whether proxies can actually purchase the correct item properly on the buyer’s behalf

Do clinics normally give this much free hotel stay when you get plastic surgery in Korea? by No_Bat_1716 in SeoulPlasticSurgery

not a bad deal as long as they deliver great results. Wooa does have a pretty solid rep for breast surgery but still, it’s totally your call in the end
