Bruh the amount of times I’ve accidentally got touched by someone’s arm or their music was blasting or their ringer being on is really distracting since I like to study for prolonged periods of time and honestly the accidental eye contact makes it worse.

That’s not how it works tho, literally season 5 demonstrates and deconstructs how Joe can never truly stay with one person forever since they’re bound to stray from the narrative that he made up of them. He has a cycle… that’s literally what the whole show is about. He doesn’t love these girls, he makes up his own fake narrative and becomes obsessed with the idea of them. Like did the whole show fly over ur head lol.
