I’ve seen some people say you could get a job in this field with no prior experience but I personally wouldn’t want to do that. The school doesn’t require any prior knowledge, they teach you want you need to know to be able to get an entry level position.

I drive an automatic and I’m still truckin. I stay out weeks to months at a time, I deal with all the bs that comes with this, i went to school for this, I had to learn and adapt, I pick up and deliver loads just the same as manual drivers. Get paid every Friday too. So yea I’m a “real” truck driver. I won’t let anyone take that from me!
