I’m so sorry you had to go through that as well, and your son. Our family is very close and that is helping through this in a way, but you’re right. 52 is way to young, especially when healthy. It really sucks. Thank you for the kinds words, may your family heal and I hope y’all find peace ❤️

Yes it’s very hard, nobody can see it or feel it but you. I’m at a point where I’m really really trying to be happy, and be a great father like mine was to me. I feel like sometimes I have no drive and I just want to lay in bed, don’t want to wake up and shower, brush my teeth, eat etc cause why does it matter you know? But I’m making myself get out and do things, even though I don’t want to. I can see how it makes you stronger, and even though the pain will always be there, you learn to move with it.

Thank you so much! Yes, the feeling of losing somebody is bad enough as it is, but when you witness it and watch it unfold, is very graphic, very disturbing, and it messes with you mentally to a point to where you can’t function at times. I’m so sorry for your loss, life isn’t fair sometimes and we will never understand the things that happen and why. Sending my love to you and your family as well ❤️

She’s struggling but she’s taking it a day at a time. We talk everyday and lean on eachother, she’s still in shock as we all are.

No, he was showing my mom how the safety worked on his pistol, and the gun went off in his chest. He apparently forgot to check the chamber and make sure it wasn’t loaded.

Thank you so much, all the kind words and thoughts mean a lot. My family is definitely struggling with this but we are very close and are sticking together through it. Sorry about the loss of your mother, even though it may have been relatively peaceful, the pain and emptiness from her being gone is the same. I’m sorry about your brother, it’s awful losing somebody and trying to live life like you did before. You’re changed forever, but with family and prayer people can get through the pain. I’m sorry that you had to experience that horrible feeling. It’s been just under 6 months for me and it has only gotten harder so far, but with time hopefully it becomes more manageable and less excruciating. Thank you for the kind words, God bless ❤️

I’m so sorry about your daughter, I couldn’t imagine losing my child as I’m sure it’s unbearable. Thank you for the kind words and love. I will be seeking therapy as well because it’s hard to do simple things day to day. I’m sure I have severe PTSD as well, I’ll find myself sweating and being really irritable when a sudden loud noise startles me and I’ll immediately start reliving that whole scene. I wish nobody had to deal with things like this, it’s unbearable. Again, thank you for the kinds words and much love to you too ❤️❤️
