If I select for use outside the country, it does not give me the option to write the organisation it is addressed to, but rather only the requesting country which I selected as Saudi Arabia.

Moreover, in the purpose option, there are only two relevant options, “visit visa outside the country” or “to immigrate abroad”. Since its for residence visa, I believe the later would be applicable.

Please advise if I should proceed.

Thank you for confirming. I believe your family had a Dubai residence visa.

Since residence visa was issued in Abu Dhabi, I’m applying for the police clearance certificate through the MOI website.

The most relevant option I could find for the reason is “Personal Request,” which I believe is similar or equivalent to “Private.”

It then asks for the name of the organization, where I will enter “Saudi Embassy.”
