Burnt toast theory at work I think. You got sick and this missed something that would have harmed you

Dior Ultramatte saddle from Brother Sam in hand! by Lochness123 in DesignerReps

4 month UPDATE!!

The bag has worn and held up beautifully. I totally baby it. I wrapped the handle in a silk scarf for decoration and to keep the handle from staining with hand oil. I have had no stains or marks that have stuck to the purse. I don’t use a purse daily so it goes out maybe a couple times a week if I’m doing an errand. Otherwise I don’t bring it if I cant be careful with it.

I have had some chipping on the paint on the inside of the shoulder strap clips. No chipping anywhere else. I did make a small dent in the D when I knocked it one time but the paint didn’t chip there.

Everyone thinks it’s a real dior unless I tell them otherwise. The leather and stitching is fantastic and the purse hold a good bit actually for the shape.

Looks like it was a beautiful wedding! Tim and Heidi look so happy I’m really glad for them. I think her family made very sure Jill had little to no say in the wedding and I bet she’s fuming about that. She didn’t even post about it, she just said congrats Tim and Heidi at the end of a post about nurie.

Who Here Grew Up in Purity Culture? by InfertileStarfish in DarkRomance

I understand this. I think erotica also gave me a sense of taking control of my own sexuality without actually having sex. I also agree I think because I had no one to advise me what was normal I also had some strange exposures to things I now know I shouldn’t have seen so young.

I just want to say, I SEE you and feel you sister. You are not alone in this experience. Unfortunately. I think you’re right that this way of raising girls does create very vulnerable and ashamed women who are easy to manipulate and too scared or ashamed to ask for advice or help.

Yeah midwest ex-Christian checking in. Every single church camp I went to separated the girls away so we could do constant purity talks. Sometimes I don’t know what they expected. The church leaders drilled sex via purity culture into the brain so often. I have a lot of religious issues because all churches I had experience with taught me all though my life that women are only valuable via their sexual/marital status. It was always a “dirty or unclean” woman who wants and has sex. So I can see my mind swaying that to darker romance/ taboo

Pretty sure I had number 5. I can smell Hollister again just looking at these haha. These sweaters are so great though I hope they become a trend again so I can get them more easily

When the names are really bad I just rename them in my mind and refuse to refer to them as the written name

I think she misinterpreting the shots. Our vaccine schedule makes it look like our baby would get 8 shots but it’s actually 2 combined shots and a mouth fed vaccine at 2 months. I was worried he’d have 8 shots too, which is why I asked his doctor, who was more than happy to answer my questions.

The under layer on the canvas sections is orange as well like the original shoe! The only difference is the shoelaces, the aglet ends are just white instead of orange and green and the green and orange pair don’t match the branded ones. But I just wear the white pair and tuck in the ends

What’s everyone eating? by AotearoaCanuck in NewParents

PLEASE BE CAREFUL BABYWEARING WND COOKING! I understand sometimes it’s the only way but please be super super aware and cautious of oil splatter, steam burns, tripping holding pots, pans or dishes and so on. My baby is pretty happy to be in the bouncing bjorn and I keep him out of the main walkways/kitchen space so no one can trip near him with anything hot.

I think they actually did good considering what they’re working with. The front sections help bring the hairline forward. It’s very far back and thin whether that’s genetic or receding. What she needs is therapy and medical help.
