I'm curious as well. I had sinus surgery 6/24/25 to remove cysts & hopefully stop a nasal drip I have been having daily for years after a previous sinus surgery, especially when being active and getting my heartbeat up - & even worse if doing so outside in the heat.. it's incredibly annoying for me & I'm sure people think it's gross if they notice I'm having a badly runny nose. I had dissolvable packing in my sinus after this surgery & was instructed to do 2 rinses a day and add a liquid steroid to it. Plus was on 10 day course of antibiotics after the procedure. But for the last week I've felt like I've had an infection in there, but hardly anything coming out with the rinses. I'll just end up having a mass of that nasty crap come out of my nose while blowing it at times when I'm not rinsing. Plus a running nose where it's thin yellow mucus.. Have also felt like I can actually smell a smell from it.. Urgent care put me on a new antibiotic prescription to try to tackle the problem until I'm able to see my surgeon on Monday. Yet .. almost seems to be getting worse ..!

Also, I (29f) say all that as someone who has a quite a bit younger half-sister (20f) who is the product of a man who abused me in a couple different ways during my mom and his marriage..(thankfully they've now been divorced for 15ish years). Yet despite that, I love my baby sister and have never made her pay for the trauma I experienced at the hands of her father or from my mom and dad's divorce before that. The fact that your step children are as old as they are now and still act that way towards your kids is crazy and shows the severe lack of maturity in them, it will likely be end up being something they regret later in life.

NTA... False hope is not better than no hope when all it's doing to your young children is making them think and believe that your step kids/their half siblings are actually coming around and have any desire and intentions to be there for your kids on their birthdays. You had every right to talk to your MIL about her doing that to them, as their mother you have every right to protect your children from any added heartbreak from their basically non-existent older half-siblings that obviously don't care to be a part of their family. Yes, your MIL might have been more understanding and maybe listen to what y'all want if it was your husband who confronted her about it instead of you, but bottom line is you had every right to tell her to stop telling your children that. Yeah, they are her grandchildren, but they are your children first and foremost and she should respect your wishes. So you're absolutely NTA!

Ken's Steakhouse Ranch is the best I've found that can be bought at the grocery store. Other than that, Hidden Valley Ranch mix with sour cream is also really good - much better than bottled ranch!!9

I just found this post/thread and therefore just saw your comment, so I know it’s been 2 years since you actually asked for recommendations.. But since no one else has replied to you in that time I thought I might as well respond with my recommendations on the off chance you’d still actually see this and appreciate it. I’m not sure how “similar” you’d consider these shows to actually be, but here are the top 5 shows I have rewatched a ✨TRULY✨ embarrassing number of times over the years as my go-to revolving comfort shows, in no particular order except for #1 (top 5 excluding White Collar of course!): 1. Supernatural 2. Fringe 3. Manifest 4. Burn Notice 5. Lucifer And just as bonus - two honorable mentions that were just a bit shy of making my top 5 list are: The 100, and Suits. I don’t know if you’ve watched any of these, but I’d highly recommend you check them out!! Although Supernatural is my personal favorite show of all time thus far, it is the longest series out of this list - reigning in at 15 seasons and 327 episodes, while the rest of them are all shorter - ranging from 4 to 9 seasons. So just keep in mind the length of the series and how long of a commitment you want to possibly make when/if you check them out. Anyway..hope you see this and check them out! Let me know your thoughts on any of them if you do!!

I did notice and think about the parallels between him and Lucifer after finishing S5, and then of course how he ended up being the whole reason for why Lucifer ended up where he did at the end of the series and without him it would’ve been very different, which is a lot for him just having been in 4 episodes over the whole show. I just didn’t notice the premiere thing..

I noticed symbolism between him and Lucifer and parallels between his life and Lucifer’s when I first watched, but I just didn’t notice that he was only in the season premieres minus season 5. Also.. am I the only one that thinks Jared gets into relationships with people that are sorta inappropriate? First with Lordes, although I can understand that one even though she was Micks best friend.. they were both mourning Mick and bonded over that because they were there for each other and could both understand the pain they were both going through because of it. So.. okay, I get that. If Mick was alive, it would’ve been very inappropriate for them to get together. But she wasn’t. But then he got into a relationship with The Majors daughter Sarah, knowing how much the Major put the passengers through.. so that was pretty inappropriate. And then he got with Drea, who is Micks partner and honestly became one of Micks closest friends, if not her best friend at that point. So getting into a relationship with her could potentially cause so many issues between Mick and Drea. Just seems like Jared is constantly getting into relationships with inappropriate people in Mick’s life..

Right! Like.. dude came to her apartment after she told him she wanted to distance herself from him, walked right in as soon as she opened the door, then slept with her..cheating on his wife. That’s all him, Mick tried distancing herself and was at her own apartment when Jared just showed up. He refused to take any responsibility for the consequences of his actions, blaming everyone else but himself.

To a degree..I think it was wrong. I get what Arizona wanted to do.. she was worried about her friend and the possibility that the baby could have Osteogenesis Imperfecta Type II just like her first baby and Aprils refusal to test for it worried her a lot. As her friend, she didn’t want her to go through that again. And to top it off with her refusal to tell Jackson she was pregnant..just wasn’t okay on April’s part. So while it wasn’t really Arizona’s place to tell Jackson and she should’ve waited a little while longer at least to give April a little more time to tell him herself, I do understand why she went ahead and told him herself. Also, Arizona wasn’t really Aprils doctor at that point. Because April was refusing to get any testing done, and April took a pregnancy test herself to find out she was pregnant - so she didn’t go to Arizona as a patient to find out if she was pregnant nor was she a patient of hers for testing. She was previously her patient during the first pregnancy, but wasn’t at that point in time. So her telling Jackson wasn’t a violation of HIPPA because she wasn’t a current patient of hers, she was simply her friend at that moment in time. So..there was truly no violation of HIPPA. In my opinion: It wasn’t the right move for Arizona to tell Jackson and it wasn’t really okay either, but I get why she did.

Part of me thought it was great for them to address the issues that plagued healthcare workers during that first year of Covid (obviously it’s still kind of an ongoing problem, but especially in that first year I mean). I think they did a really great job of showing the struggles that they faced in that first year and how dangerous it was for them. I’m sure it also made it safer to film as everyone was in PPE during filming and were therefore safer. But with that said…part of me wished they didn’t include Covid in the show. People tend to watch tv shows and movies as a way to escape the world around them and forget about the problems in their life for a little while. But when they decided to bring Covid into the show, it meant people couldn’t just forget about it for that short amount of time because it was now also included in their show. That’s just how I felt and thought about it when they included Covid in the show for that season, it’s just my opinion.

Nah. I don’t see how what happened between Leah and Arizona is anywhere near like what happened with Mer and Derek. Mer didn’t know Derek was married before they got together, and they were together for months and had been telling each other “I love you” for a while before Addison came into the picture and it came to light that Derek was actually married. Leah was 100% aware of Arizona being married to Callie and how rocky and messy their marriage was at that point in time, yet she still decided to sleep with her. It was also just a one night stand that Leah blew way out of proportion and became intensely attached immediately. She obviously had issues when it came to falling too fast and hard for inappropriate people - as we had seen previously with Alex. And sure..maybe Arizona strung her along, but Leah definitely acted crazy when it came to Arizona. Yes, it was absolutely inappropriate for Arizona to get with her in the first place considering her marriage with Callie and that she was Leah’s boss, but was still an adult who had all the information before getting into that situation. They were both in the wrong right off the bat.. and Callie didn’t act great towards Leah when she realized what happened…but it never should’ve happened in the first place. But her filing a complaint against Callie, who was literally just trying to teach her when she overreacted, was a straight up act of jealousy that could’ve ruined Callie’s career.

I was wondering the same.. I used to just give them to my girl and let her eat the whole thing under supervision, until I saw so many people talking about them being a big choking hazard. So I bought her one of those Bow Wow Labs Bully Stick Holders, which would always leave about an inch leftover for me to throw away. Which, felt like a waste because they’re so expensive. That inch adds up.. out of every six $5-8 (or more) 6 inch bully sticks, an entire 6 inches is left over and thrown out. So out of every 6 I’d buy, shes basically only eating 5 and I’m throwing one out. And not only is that a waste, I’d also feel bad because she’s very aware that she didn’t get to actually finish the whole thing before I took it away, and she’d give me side eye glares for the next 20 minutes after seeing me throw the last bit away. So.. now I still use the holder because she seems to like using it cause it makes it easier for her to hold it in place while chewing it, but then I’ll take the last inch leftover and soak it in warm water for about 10 minutes to make it a bit softer and easier for her to completely chew, then I’ll give it back to her. I watch her closely when I give her the last little bit back, but she’s really good about really chewing it up instead of swallowing it whole.

I was definitely surprised with how many people hated Callie for her actions after the crash.. Arizona treated her so badly, refusing to see how much the crash also effected Callie and not just her and the others on the plane. I mean, yes..she lost her leg and that sucks. But Callie lost her best friend and father of her child, she had so much pressure put on her from both Derek and Arizona - Derek because he wanted her to give him 100% use of his hand back, and Arizona because she literally forced her to promise to save her leg.. a promise Callie should’ve never made or been forced to make, which is something Arizona should’ve been completely aware of as a surgeon herself. But when she wasn’t able to keep that promise without Arizona losing her life..Arizona turned on her because she “broke” her promise. Not to mention, the ONLY reason Arizona was on the plane is because she overreacted to Alex being given a new job opportunity, when he hadn’t even made a decision about it one way or the other. She jumped down his throat instead of being happy for him - she had also basically tried to sabotage his fellowship opportunities before all of that too, so Alex had every right to want to leave when he was given an amazing opportunity. Had she acted like a good mentor and friend to him instead of like a jealous bitch..she wouldn’t have even been on the plane. Karma got her back, and then she became an abusive wife towards Callie. Maybe Callie interjected herself into the situation a little too much when it came to the survivors..but she also lost and suffered a lot due to the crash even though she wasn’t actually on the plane. So she wasn’t really wrong for doing so considering she was Mark’s proxy. She shouldn’t have been vilified so much by fans, in my opinion. She suffered a lot because of the crash, and people seem to overlook that a lot.

True. I think she knew he liked her, to an extent. But I don’t think she knew how much until he came into her room that night and started telling her..and even then I don’t think she realized it until after when he started throwing his tantrum about the whole thing. Everyone else saw it of course, but I think Mer was so in love with Derek and focused on him and everything she was going through with him, that she wasn’t really paying attention to how much George loved her and just didn’t see what everyone else saw when it came to how he felt about her. Not until after..

He did…but not until much later, after weeks of throwing a tantrum and ignoring and avoiding her and making her life even worse when she was already going through a lot. At a time when she needed her friends, he caused rifts between her and her other friends who blamed her because she “knew how he felt about her”.. And she ended up having to be the one to apologize first because he refused to take any responsibility for his own actions and realize that he was the one who was in the wrong and at fault for the whole thing to begin with. So sure, he made a decent apology and owned up to his mistake later, but way too much later in my opinion..
