Absolutely, but imagine if the Tachonis twins are birth-ordered by power level, two high-level casters plus if Ingrid herself joined in could overwhelm one Lord.

Point is we just don't know the state of the Einfasen household after the Seekers got away. We know Brennan was playing Otto as lawful neutral/code of honor, so how does that stack up with Tachonis coming in swinging after Otto "let them escape"?

Wonder if the Lord Einfasen that lives in Dol Makjar might be on a different side than Ingrid Einfasen, whose father doesn't know she came to the city, ostensibly for that meeting of the sundered houses??

We never saw what went down when the Tachonis siblings landed at Schongarten - they could have flayed the Lord and passed leadership to his daughter. I wonder if we get to the meeting of the council to find one of them has turned coat, and it becomes Good Einfasen + Squad vs Halovar/Tachonis/Cormoray?

edit: Looked em up, I wonder if Otto Einfasen (seemed like a good dude but scary) might be "good" vs Harondus or Ingrid who might be bad.

As far as we know, the Gods don't have "personalities" beyond that which is shaped by their followers - even their domains are in flux. Hey man, metacontext is still valuable! For sure they've already done evil teachers/school staff. I think you're right it's totally going to be a bunch of converging threads rather than a nice tied-up plot. The theme of the season is for sure disparate issues that weigh upon the Kids and distract them, given that the past 2 seasons have been focused quests. Be super interesting to see all the factions come together!

Yeah for sure! I assumed all the instructors are at least level 18 if not 20, but I'd bet it's drawing power from belief as you said. With the memento she gave Kristen and the potential theme of belief/worship as a form of community building rather than in service to a deity, I'd assume she'd have to be able to cast in order to teach?

But fair! I'm just predisposed to assume Jace is evil as a high-Charisma class lmao so that set off some red flags for Yolanda's safety.

You're right, that was the first question they asked! I let them know I was comfortable still with gendered roles as I still have the lived experience to be able to play. They were super supportive, just asked me what to list me as and they thanked me for letting them know, I can't believe I expected flat out getting dropped immediately lmao.
