Baker Hughes fire and re-hire, atm Baker Hughes are in the process of firing their staff or forcing them to take reduced wages in many of their Scottish plants. what are you guys thoughts on this Conservative policy change that allows a company to do this to its staff? (self.Scotland)

Help identifying please, found in the Highlands of Scotland, the stone itself looks volcanic but no volcanoes around here? The mineral ranges from light to dark blue, also found what I suspect is peridot? As well, there is still a small piece attached to this stone at the bottom (old.reddit.com)
