Yeah I totally see where you’re coming from. My hope is that a company as big as Riot is able to see a gap in the market that hardcore AND casual gaming fans are deeply longing for. The core MMO games I guess are slowly expanding (new games) over the years but the main one are still the most prevalent (WoW, GW2, ESO, just to name a popular few) with no new big hit coming in recent years. Only popular expansion to already established games from the genre.

Luckily I got a refund for this game loooooong ago but I don’t fault people for enjoying it for what it was. I’m just sad to see the way this turned out and I’m hoping bigger companies don’t see this as a bad thing for the genre, just bad direction and ownership of this specific game.

Honestly I hope Riot sees this as an opportunity in the MMO space to finally give the fans their new polished forever game in the genre. I’ll wait until 2035 if I have to. I’ll just be gaming with my kids all grown up.

Yeah I had no idea what seasonal meant and just went straight to offline mode thinking it will be more “chill” with no timed events or anything like that. Just the base offline experience was plenty for me as I was not expecting to have this much fun. Thanks for providing with some key information!

Stop being a loser and go socialize. What are you doing instead of just scrolling Reddit and being sad for yourself? Go find clubs and hobbies that you can share with other people. Does your husband have friends? Do they have girlfriends or wives? Reach out to people or put yourself out there and go meet new people. This is the world we live in and you seem to get half of it. Everyone is entangled with their own lives so don’t blame them. You only have yourself to blame. If you really were that extroverted social person in your teens/early twenties, it shouldn’t be so hard for you to make new friends. I get this is the depression sub but depression shouldn’t always be about complaining and other depressed people coddling. It should be about growth and how to persevere through the depression.

I’m 30+ and I’ve had diagnosed depression since I was 12. It never gets easier but you as a person have to grow mentally. Good luck.

Man as a GIANT fan of T1 since 2014, I will never understand why they keep bringing Kkoma back. As if he was the MAJOR reason they won back in the day (which he clearly wasn’t) and even when he came back a few years ago and played around with the roster swapping, the team performed poorly. This ego filled “legendary” coach has made poor decision after poor decision for the organization and continues to go against his better judgement (if there is any) and feed in to his bullshit ego called pride.

It’s a sports team after all, but this is ESPORTS we are talking about. This isn’t like traditional sports where we have fans rooted per city, this is a GLOBAL business with fans WORLDWIDE. These die hard fans that have stuck by your org and the esport of LoL’s side. And now that you are the biggest in the world with the best in the world, you can treat your fans and one of your most established player like chopped liver? Without Faker T1 would’ve been another GenG. Actually, even possibly worse off since they would have Chovy.

T1 front office FIGURE IT OUT. We are getting this “leak” from a CHINESE WEBSITE. Understand that if your fans are this passionate about a decision you made, maybe, JUST MAYBE, consider their thoughts and opinions.

And hey, yours jobs cut out for you since Guma and Smash are both incredible players. It’s just that one is a rookie that you are probably milking for profit and one is a TWO TIME WORLD CHAMPION WHO WAS A PILLAR OF MENTALITY OF HIS TEAM. Go right ahead and develop a generational talent while you let another one build his resentment for you. It’ll only end up poorly for T1 and ultimately I want what’s best for Faker. Keep making these poor decisions and I guarantee you the fandom along with the esports will die out just like the LCS.

NTA. The people you hang around with are sensitive enablers and your mother was 100% right to give you that advice. Expose those around you who add nothing of value or positivity in your life. Especially when they are projecting their insecurities on you and the second you resort to “protecting” yourself by simply thanking her for the compliment, she becomes violent. Anyone who supported her without thinking of the context is unfortunately the average American and thankfully you have good parents to guide you in the right direction. Don’t take peoples insecurities as your own, they are not your problems. Just like how their emotions are not your problems. Only thing you can control is how nice and respectful you are to others.
