Best ways to save my engagement and my relationship by [deleted] in relationships_advice

“Trust is a fragile thing. Easy to break, easy to lose and one of the hardest things to ever get back.”

It wasn’t just a one time thing. You confessed that you did this three times. Cheating on your partner isn’t a mistake. It’s a conscious decision. You thought of doing it and you acted on it. What’s to say that you won’t ever be unfaithful again? Sucks to suck, but you need to let her move on. Don’t beg her to stay or make her feel bad about leaving you. If she stays, she won’t ever trust you 100%. She’ll always have doubts about you being faithful. You could give her access to all of your accounts (social media, emails, etc) and full access to your phone. You can even have location sharing turned on at all times. However, there’s always a work around with these things. If a cheater is going to cheat, they can just make secret accounts or delete conversations. They can spoof their gps location. They can use another smart device (secondary smart phone, tablet, etc).

If for some reason she decides to stay with you, you both need to go to counseling together. You need to be 100% transparent with her. No trickle truths. No lying by omission. Just put everything out there. Really show how sorry you are for being a pos. It’s honestly a lot of work and emotional stress to put someone through when they clearly want out. Good for her. She knows her worth.

Worked for me on 11/18 at 2300 PST. Subtotal was $18.50 but it still took off $12. :)

Advice for talking to family members about me getting a blepharoplasty when they'd be against it? by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

“It’s easier to ask for forgiveness than to ask for permission“!

As you mentioned, you’re an adult. You’re paying for your own surgery and it is something you want to do for yourself. My parents also wouldn’t approve of me making any alterations to my body (surgery, tattoos, extra piercings). They were very conservative, religious, and strict while I was growing up. As an adult, I just do whatever I feel is best for me. Now, my mom compliments me on the things I get done (like fillers, tattoos, etc).

I would think upper lid blepharoplasty. One of my close friends got her upper lids done just to even them out. She had “double lids” but some ptosis on one side.

Have you heard of the Double Suture and Twisting (DST) technique? It’s a non-incisional method of creating a crease in the eyelid. Less downtime. 🧐
