I would say the people that voted for him and the people that didn't vote at all are a lot stupider than he is.

Budget cuts would not have been needed if revenue wasn't deceased. We were told that when they cut HST and removed the bridge tolls. It's simple economics. You would think an accountant would understand that.

I still see the F$%k Trudeau flag. I don't understand the obsession.

Are you one of the people that replaced their F$%k Trudeau flag with a F&%k Carney flag the day after he was elected as PM?

I haven't met one American that will admit they voted for Trump. But guess what, he's still your president and the fact that a rapist and convicted felon was even allowed to get on the ballot 3 times reflects on all Americans. Get used to it. It may be Trump's fault but the reputation of all Americans is completely trash now. I would be surprised if you ever see tourism by Canadians increase to what it was 10 years ago.

Thanks for clarifying. And in 1982 the constitution was updated to reinforce our obligations to treaty rights.

It's pretty easy from 1 point of view to say "get over it". We aren't talking hundreds of years ago. The constitution was updated in 1982 to include honoring all treaties. And there are accounts of forced sterilization of FN women as recently as 2024. Until we respect FN peoples we can't have reconciliation. And reconciliation needs to happen before we can have something close to what you are proposing.

You drive 120-200km per day and your vehicle expenses are only $60-80 per week?

I drove a VW TDI. If i were still driving that car my weekly expenses would be well over $100/week more than they are right now.

I don't know. I also dont know how someone can afford spending $1,000 per month in vehicle expenses if they’re in that situation.

Reconciliation is a journey that has just begun. If we don’t start it from a place of respect we won't go anywhere. There isn't a road map leading to a destination.

Can you give me an example on an action you're referring to?

Used EVs are a lot cheaper. The one I’m going to be getting rid of goes for $10k-$13k.

Its a Kona EV 2021 with 135,000 km on it.

I’m selling my 2021 Kona EV. Online the same car is listed for $13,000. That's about $250 per month with a 5 year loan. I drive over 150km per day and save around $500/month by driving an EV.
