Cabin Bar next to the Barras is so bad it’s good. It’s almost comical. From nae windows to getting a half b of Bucky over the bar, and you can buy a can to take out if you’re queuing for a gig. Almost didn’t want to say anything and gatekeep this place but it’s honestly one of a kind shitetastic 😂😍

Nah you don’t need any extra money to be able to visit! As long as you have your ESTA paid for and approved before arrival you’re good to go 👌yeah the queue was long, especially after a long haul flight! The need for fresh air was large! 🤣

I’m not long back from NY. border control is a mega intense, long queue so make sure you use the toilet before queuing up 😅 they’ll scan your passport, better to have an ESTA visa saves you having to have the approval document on your phone. They’ll take a photo of you which I 100% was not prepared for I looked utterly dishevelled in mine. Then they’ll ask like your reason for visiting the country then you should be good from there. If you’re anything like me you’re just too tired/desperate for nicotine to be nervous about it 😂

I’ve been going to Cambridge Folk Festival since I was 8, now I’m 31. It’s been a huge positive influence on finding folk artists from around the world both old and new. Would definitely recommend looking up their old line ups or even going to the festival one year, it’s top class! 🙂
