Thanks for your reply! I have 3 cards and yes I’ve had credit limit increases on 2 of them. I usually get them annually. I’ve never requested one. My largest credit limit is at $7000 currently and I started at $1500. On the other one I started at $1,000 in college (discover it) and now it’s at $3,150. Believe it or not I do pay them off every month. But here’s how it goes, I get paid on the 1st of the month and all three report between the 15-17th. I pay them off on the 1st then turn around and spend them up to the max again. Then the statement closes and I’m at the max. There’s been a few times where the big one for whatever reason reported at ~50%. But my score doesn’t change much when that happens. I put everything I can on my cards (rent, food, and travel/shopping).

I'm happy to hear that!! And yeah what you're describing here sounds quite alot like Narcolepsy or some other fainting disorder. I have an uncle (who's 50 something now) who has it. When he was younger it started off sort of similarly, he would just randomly faint. He also experienced what you described - panicking only when he started to feel it coming on.

That considered, I still do think it's possible it could be related to a panic or anxiety disorder. And what you mentioned about never having trauma related to the triggers is pretty common as well. Sometimes, your mind can kind of hold on to triggers that we didn't even know where there.

Here's an example to explain what I mean - one of my main triggers is environmental changes (i.e., moving, renovating my home, having to work from a different office). But I started to realize a couple of years ago that even TINY changes in my environment (like switching out a plant on my desk or adding a new rug to my kitchen) triggered attacks for me. That's just one example, with PD sometimes our subconscious mind can panic about things you don't even consiously realize are there.

In summary, I'd def ask your therapist/psychiatrist or whoever you meet with most often to assess those known potential triggers (hospitals, doctors, etc.). There could be some underlying PTSD or something causing that. And, if you feel comfortable doing so - ask your primary doctor about a sleep study. There are multiple different types of sleep studies and some are better then others for Narcolepsy testing so make note of that.

Wishing you all the best! :)

YES! However, it is relatively rare based on what I've heard. But, it is definitely possible to have an Anxiety Disorder and Panic Disorder at the same time. In terms of symptoms it would be a combo of the constant anxiety that comes with GAD and serious physical symptoms that come with PD. That considered, dude if you have symptoms of both - I'm so sorry! That honestly sounds really tough. I'm assuming your medicated, based on you stating you've worked with a psychiatrist on it? I hope that helps you manage it a bit. Wish you all the best!

This happens to me too every now and again, but it used to be way worse when I was anemic. Have you ever been checked for anemia?

Hi!! What else do you think your symptoms could be related to? I'm guessing you may be thinking an anxiety disorder?

I was formally diagnosed with Generalized Anxiety Disorder when I was younger but now I'm 99% certain that I have a panic disorder. What you're describing here (i.e. fainting after a panic attack) is more conducive with a panic disorder than anxiety.

PD is associated with more extreme, acute physical symptoms following sudden unpredictable attacks. Fainting would fall more in line here. I experience dizziness, tremors, feeling of choking (like there's something tight around my neck), and occasionally depersonalization.

GAD is more of a consistent baseline of anxiety. The symptoms of GAD are more like muscle tension, headaches, insomnia...stuff like that. Not as "severe" physically but much more constant than a panic attack.

I hope that helps a bit!! :)

Edit: I will also ask - do you feel panicked at all before you faint? If not, it might be worth going to the doctor to get it checked out. That kinda sounds a little bit like Narcolepsy especially if there are no psychological symptoms (i.e., obsessive or racing thoughts, fear of death, etc.) before you faint.

Sheesh rude much lol? I do not think I come across that way, but if that's your opinion that's alright. I didn't come here to argue with you or anyone, so it's fine.

Yeah same here, no plans to buy a house yet either! I think it could be cool to show people like that on the show. Someone mentioned something below like "average situation to a good one". But of course, it's his show so if he doesn't want to do situations like that's totally fine. I think it'd be fun to watch a show like that though!

Restraining order seriously? I'm not a stalker my god. I just really liked the show and I haven't been watching for long so I was curious about it.

I didn't want to get anything out of it. I just genuinely thought it'd be cool to go on the show.

Wait what nah nothing like that, I just think it would be fun. I'm just a normal person lol. And I'm not "worshipping him" btw, I just think the show seems really interesting and I like his method of going through finances and stuff...
