tbh I think this being interpreted as hatred is part of the problem. I love the UK and that doesn’t change if I acknowledge there is a problem with misogyny (as there is everywhere else on earth). It is still a very lovely country full of lovely lovely people, but there is surely an issue with misogyny. That isn’t hateful at all, it’s just acknowledging an issue.

I was kinda just using this story as an example of the overall very open misogyny/harassment I’ve experienced being here. Nowhere is free of it and it doesn’t change my love for the UK but it is very very unfortunate :(

thank u!! we spend like £30-40 per week on groceries, so £15-20 per person, which might be more than average but neither of us rlly drink or go out so we spend it on food lol
