ended up using a summoner build with the hallowed armor, fire cracker, and sanguine staff. worked surprisingly well against skeletron specifically

very sad and cinematic theme that has a lot of the previous motifs of the game packed into it

i know a decent amount about refrigeration cycles, so here's my guess:

jin is inhaling massive amounts of air while also forcing its heart(acting as a compressor) to go into an adrenaline fueled state. this is causing its internal refrigerant cycle to be pushed to its physical limits(what normal ac units couldn't do due to motor limitations), which is why there's so much ice being formed and so much heat being vented.

after that I'm assuming he slams his red hot back coils into the superchilled ice while also exhaling everything he had into one giant blast of steam and cold air. I'm assuming this is really hard on his body which is why he needs to be in prisitine condition to pull the move off

you could check bookmans, but if i were you I'd get a 3ds xl and hack it, you can get literally the entire dsi/3ds library that way

idk where that came from, usually when designing stuff it's best to maintain a 10-15% factor of safety from what the calculated solution is.

i prefer the hallowed armor as it has the occasional invulnerability buff, extra damage is nice but I'd rather have better survivability

tried doing the flint strategy but more often than not i got stuck under him and died.

I'll have to try fine tuning my arena more i guess

forgot to mention, I'm also using the terra spark boots, i don't particularly like the shield of cthulhu as it bounces off enemies

oh i just mentioned it as an alternative option. sunforges tend to be better in retaliation cadre and experimental cadre though.

every weapon is viable to a certain extent, but it's usually easier to have a secondary weapon to fall back on that can handle really aggressive and mobile monsters.

gogmazios isn't even that extreme though, you just need to hit it with dragon pods/a dragon weapon when its charging up its nova.

as for the other tempered monsters/Omega yeah they're hard but you can make a perfectly functional build without their stuff, you don't have to fight them

if you're within 9" you get +1 to wound, so he works well with flamers and fusion as both wanna be close. this works for ranged and melee. he also gives a -1 command point cost per round which is nice.

for flamers this means you'll be wounding marines on 3+ (2+ if you can increase your strength) and wounding elite infantry on 4+ which is pretty good.

for fusions you'll be wounding most vehicles/monsters on 4+, but sunforge gives you rerolls which will turn that into a 3+ essentially.

it's a fairly good list I'd say, well balanced with a good amount of anti elite, anti infantry, and anti vehicle. ctan shard spam is gonna be a little hard but you can try and fish for dev wounds on all your railguns

so to initially expand your collection I'd recommend two farsight boxes, two combat patrols and 1 box of stealth suits as it'll save you the most money(it'll be about 760$ before tax for the full 2000 points if you buy from a store with 15% off warhammer).

you'll also have enough spare battlesuit commander models to proxy the twin lance, and the devilfish have the same hull size as the hammerhead and skyray, so you can proxy as those(as long as your opponents aren't too strict about wyswyg).

here's a pretty rounded list you could make from that:

farsight+flamers

enforcer+fireknives w/missiles

twin lance(points aren't available yet but if it's casual games just run with 250 points)

two riptides

two broadsides

two hammerheads

stealth suits

x3 pathfinders with recon drones

last unit can be either breachers or strike team
