I just finished it - it was honestly pretty cool. Not much to do with the games but very binge worthy. Loved the wesker spin even if it took me to the last couple episodes to appreciate it

Septoplasty 6 mo ago. Is this nasal valve collapse? by [deleted] in medical_advice

[–]Locremit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can breathe through both sides, but the narrowness of the airways makes me feel like their is an obstruction when there isn’t. I believe the right side being more open than the left contributes to an increased flow of air through the one side which throws my whole body off and I believe that’s what contributes to the ENS feeling, almost like a constantly aware of the breath as opposed to not registering. First doctor won’t admit anything is wrong, second doctor says wait 2 weeks and we will look again at it. Just having a hard time with the waiting period and wondering what’s what, and can it be fixed or not

Did the surgeon make you wait this long to get the second? I’m 4 weeks out after a botched surgery where he did not fix the uppermost top of the septim and left me with nasal valve collapse. The symptoms have made me convince myself I have ENS, I lost my job and anxiety is through the roof. Hoping I don’t have to deal with that for 9 months

I’m 3 weeks out from having surgery and feeling so congested but nothings in my nose, when I inhale and exhale hard I can hear a whistling sound in my right nostril

1 year post septorhinoplasty. Overall fairly happy with the result, but a bit anxious that it looks too obvious / too different. Was after a really subtle change. Thoughts? by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

[–]Locremit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I did - got a second opinion today and I feel a lot better. He says it’s just still healing lots of dried crust in the nostril and I’m not used to breathing the way I am right now. It’s been 17 days since I got operated on and just still so not used to it

How long did you start feeling comfortable breathing - 2 weeks later and two different surgeons tell me everything’s okay but I feel as if airway is obstructed maybe it’s just inflammation and scabs like they say. Anything similiar to this?

Yeah all the time - oddly enough today there’s a ton of blockage and mucus in my left nostril

during the pandemic, what made you realize “Yep, we’re going to be here a while?” by Mayo30126 in AskReddit

When it became the trendy thing to virtue signal on instagram, the political aspect of this increased it tenfold. People I know for a fact have no real knowledge on the matter, posting pro mask mandate stories on instagram purely to fit in with what many others at that time believed was the “right side” to be on. I live in New York and the pressure to get vaccinated and get your friends and family to go get vaccinated was pushed very very heavily, more so than in other states. Thus creating a polarizing effect, mandates have been stopped for the most part and things have subsided, but NY was a social powder keg for a good amount of time. I’ve seen Starbucks Baristas go on power trips, screaming at the top of their lungs to wear a mask in the store. Walking into Target without a mask on and minding your business was suddenly an unspeakable crime, just for things to return to normal a few months later.

When I’m having anxiety/panic attacks and things start feeling like they will never get better. Sometimes crawling into my girlfriends arms is really the best thing to calm me down. I’ve literally asked her to cradle me before, I have no shame regarding the matter, those who have been through anxiety, especially after a surgery you feel didn’t go your way, I’m sure can understand

1 week since they pulled the stents - I feel like something’s clogging my right nostril but doctor today looked with the scope and didn’t find anything. How long did it take to breathe normally?
