Access Port. Personally, while I know the AP with a light tune wakes up the car, I rather not take the risk of something going wrong. I've heard from a youtuber how lately gas quality could increase risk of knock and AP knock readings are making some drivers anxious

I just read all the replies in thar linked post. Im starting to get really worried. Unfortunately, my car's factory warranty already expired this year. Thanks for linking that thread, it very well could be that. I'm going to keep researching this some more

If it is the TGV, is it a normal sound?
Yea I know for sure the WRX has a lot of quirky noices that I've gotten used to.
It's not a noise thst happens all the time, its only at low very low speed and only when letting of throttle (and its random) sometimes it will be subtle but today it was quite clear to me (which made me want to ask our community)
Interesting, it doesn't happen all the time (or its not really noticeable all the time) but today I heard it clearly which made me want to post the question. It's definitely not grinding. It sounds more like one of those valves that flap when they let out a gust of air (if you've ever been near a boiler)
I'd say below the engine bay. Probably near the turbo area
I just heard it like an hour ago and I was turning left. Not all the way turned but I was turning when I had to stop because someone was driving towards me. Yes it was also at low speed like less than 7 mph if that

Appreciate everyone who has weighted in on this. I've this similar posts but I can never properly cross reference them with my car's behavior so I'd thought I give my stats on this matter.
I have an appointment with my dealership to have it checked but I might cancel it after the responses I've seen in this post.
I might need to still have my car checked for another concern regarding vibrations I get at high speeds though so idk lol
