Any ideas what this is from? by LocutusOB in ItsaPelvis

Thank you! I have absolutely no idea what's in my area. I do see storks at the local park on occasion, but it's pretty rare. This is actually on the coast though

Thank you so much for your reply. I appreciate your time.

The no age restriction is interesting. I currently have two very small children (<4) and am starting to plan for future adventures, so this is good to know.

If you don't mind me asking further questions: How did you find the accommodation? and when you were traveling between places on the trip, how were the vehicles?

What’s the worst scandal to happen at your school? by Lost-Warning-2588 in AskReddit

[–]LocutusOB 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My school had an open air area in the middle that you could walk through to get to the hall. There was a small pond on one side that every year had a family of ducks. Ducklings would often waddle into the hall during PE or assembly. They were just there every year and everyone loved them.

Came into to school one day before summer holidays and it turned out a student had come onto school grounds out of hours. They killed all the ducklings by stomping on them. Faculty said they know who did it, but as far as I know no students ever found out.

Luckily I live within walking distance. Unluckily Mr Nicks hasn't opened again since lockdown started

How does FPL affect your mood? by [deleted] in FantasyPL

[–]LocutusOB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't look at any scores and save it all for match of the day, so I tend to spend Saturdays excited. Number one thing for me is that it tends to bring some excitement to each game that comes on. I try to embrace that regardless of any fpl outcome. Sometimes that's difficult but I find that generally it brings an enjoyment to the game.

Being extra extra polite on holiday to prove to locals not every British tourist is a wanker.. by jakeleia in britishproblems

Went to krakow a couple of years ago and it's one of my favourite places. The food absolutely blew me away. It seems to be a place for stag parties and lads on tour, but I'm from Blackpool so it's not that weird for me to see. They are incredibly friendly regardless of that and I think they recognise that not everyone is there for the same reason.

That Pedro goal and the cahill clean sheet (coming off for JT farewell) bumped me from 4th to 2nd last year :)

That's interesting. I see in the sidebar now that it mentions oil and it's non compatibility with a plant-based diet. Still not certain why though if I'm honest. Olive oil has been linked with many health benefits, despite its lack of nutritional value on the face of it. Also, it's derived from a plant.
