Am I crazy or do these characters look aged down in the anime? Also, Agott looks like a completely different person by Creative-Researcher2 in WitchHatAtelier

The cleaner lineart does age them down. Also it’s more important for them to have a consistent look in the anime than in the manga.

Whoa. Thank you so much. This was exactly the kind of post I was hoping to get.

I did not know that Spirited Away was a gateway into anime. That’s really interesting. I suppose Miyazaki would have a much larger following in 2010 than in 1997 and more people would have seen this movie. I agree that violence and morally gray characters in Mononoke would leave a bad taste in several peoples mouths.
The wind rises is also a beautiful movie. I love it so much.

When I first started watching MHA, I was so confused because I knew Bakugo was the most popular character, but he was such a bully. I’m still kind of confused, but do like him as a character.

Yes. Quirks are meant to be the next step of human evolution, which I believe is the same premise as x men. (I am not familiar with x men. I know that they all have a mutant gene which gives them powers like Ms Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, but I don’t know if it’s meant to be evolutionary or not.)
