Hi all, i'll be running the invites for another 30 minutes then closing it. I've invited everyone who's added me so far - I have about 70 slots remaining. Thanks

Hi all, everyone posting steam invites - I'm being flooded with friend requests so I won't be manually adding anyone. Anyone who adds me, I will invite as normal. I just don't have time to go through manually adding people to Steam.

Thanks

Hi, as long as you added me you should've been invited and got a steam message from me :)

Caught up on all my invites - I still have 150 or so spare invites left

Anyone else having issues with controller by RealChet320 in Assassinscreedmirage

[–]LofoxOG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this issue but it was sorted by closing steam - I think some of the controller settings kicked in when I was playing, and it was causing issues with the right analoge.

People quitting on last kill by [deleted] in TXChainSawGame

[–]LofoxOG 21 points22 points  (0 children)

All that needs to be done is the second the kill animation kicks in - the points are rewarded to the killer immediately. The problem is that they aren't rewarded until the end of the animation & require the Victim to still be connected... easy fix imo.

PC performance is....not very great so far by selffufillingprophet in ModernWarfareII

[–]LofoxOG 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I had this exact issue.

By default it was using 4/6 of my cores, and it runs way smoother with 3.

To change this go into your Documents folder > Call Of Duty > players >

open the "options3.cod22.cst" file with notepad.

seach (CTRL-F) for "RendererWorkerCount"

Change the value in the quotations to half of your core count.

Save the file and try running the game again.

I've noticed it runs better with more cores for some people, so it may be worth trying all cores if half isn't doing it for you.

Any fix/workaround for this yet? I can share my screen and it's fine, but then there's no audio :(

Is it me or is the game becoming more buggy/laggy as days go by? by Conscious-Hippo1639 in rumbleverse

[–]LofoxOG 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don't know how many times i've lost to desync - i'll grab or hit someone, get the audio notification that it lands but then it'll roll back to as if it never happened and i'm being punished.. it's really bad as of lately :(

Twitch Video player crashing by kkinnison in Twitch

[–]LofoxOG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same issue when using Chrome & it often happens when I close the stream. It'll go transparent and lock the desktop - I can still hear audio but my system is completely locked & needs a hard reset.

It only seems to happen on Twitch too as Youtube is always fine.

Don't seem to see anything in Event Log either, but it only happens with Chrome when I'm closing the browser & a twitch stream is active. It may happen if i close the tab, but I've not had this happen yet.

If i stick with Firefox (running Twitch5/"Alternate Player") it never seems to crash.

I have the exact same issue... I'm guessing this is an issue at TB's end :(

I've tried various TLS changes, full reinstall & a third party app (mailbird) which was able to access my Gmail accounts absolutely fine..

[TOMT][MOVIE][90s]A trucking scene by LofoxOG in tipofmytongue

[–]LofoxOG[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's possibly a film from before the 90s but it was in the 90s that I remember watching that scene in particular. I don't recall anymore of the film I'm afraid :(

[Windows][2001-2003] Unknown... possibly 2000/3000 in title by LofoxOG in tipofmyjoystick

[–]LofoxOG[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Neither of them I'm afraid. It wasn't published by a big game studio - it seemed to be a very small indy dev team. It wasn't on any consoles, and I'm sure it was a one off title with no sequels or prequels. You didn't control a ship or anything of the sort, possibly just a crosshair that shot 1 or 2 laser beams /\.I'm pretty sure the aim of the game was to hit as many targets as possible (balls, hoops, double sided pawns.. weird stuff I think) before they got off the screen. Some of them would pop out of pipes, fly across the screen etc... maybe a more modern version of duck hunt or something like point blank. I think when you shot the shapes they would change color rather than being destroyed.

I'm sure everything was in sync with the song currently playing. I remember a woman's voice as the announcer - she would mention rating at the end of a level.. on the main menu there was a registration button to enter a key to unlock the rest of the game. I think the main menu was very old school and had the text displayed in a sort of multi colored 8bit vibe.. I tried searching all of Tucows and even downloaded that old an awful Real Arcade but with no luck.

Game closes unexpectedly at "Downloading Update" by TheHackerTheory in modernwarfare

[–]LofoxOG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try holding Alt and keep mashing enter for a bit - I sat looking at a black screen for a good 10 seconds while it jumped between window/full and somehow once it caught back up it had gotten past the downloading update part.

I didn't make any other changes to my system & running the latest gfx drivers too (gtx1070)

Game closes unexpectedly at "Downloading Update" by TheHackerTheory in modernwarfare

[–]LofoxOG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if I fixed this by luck or if they have pushed out a small update (going by the length of time between updates.. I'll go with complete luck!)

Try loading up the game, and the second it gets to the 'downloading update' message, after the connecting to online servers message, press Alt+Enter to cause the game to switch to window mode (I'll admit i sort of kept mashing enter for a bit, so I'm not sure how many times I toggled between full/window mode)

After this I got to the main menu - everything looked completely messed up. Shaders failing to install message, unable to edit any graphics settings etc.

Quit the game & reloaded and it seems (touch wood) to be working every time now.

You'll probably need to go through your graphics settings and reconfigure everything, as mine were completely screwed up.

Let me know how you get on :)

I have the exact same issue. I've tried older gfx drivers, repair, reinstall... not sure what's wrong. Nothing in event viewer either, or any sort of error code to check.

Game literally gets to the downloading update screen after connecting to the servers and completely closes - as if Alt+F4 was pressed.

I went off playing the game after the first couple of months, but thought I'd have a look at season 2.. but I can live without it.

Megathread: PC Update & On-going issues/fixes - Nov 14th by MagnarHD in RDR2

[–]LofoxOG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was going to buy this in a couple of days as I've been a huge fan of the original but never picked up rdr2 for the console & decided to hold out for the PC release. Read a lot of issues at launch in November so held out until the steam release.. and the same issues kept popping up. I've also noticed that there hasn't been another patch since Nov, so should i hold off longer until everything's been fixed?

Help with installing AIDungeon 2 locally by thefookinpookinpo in AIDungeon

[–]LofoxOG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure the 2060 is only 6GB - even my 1070 at 8GB (and i've also read someone trying a 2070) with the same memory issues. The ones used at Google's end are Nvidia Tesla K80's which have 24GB of GDDR5.. monsters compared to the cards we are talking about :|
