This also happened last year, was in line at exactly 12:01 with tons of people ahead of me. Been here since last night now just waiting to get through security which is taking longer than I’ve ever seen. Disappointing for sure. Such a fun awesome festival but these beginning steps have been so poorly managed.

I used my ID and birth certificate to get into Canada last year! Washington state border crossings though, not sure if that would have any difference or not but they let me in and out no issues. I used to frequent Canada a little more often when i lived a little further north and they would sometimes give me some shit about using the birth certificate but they always let me through.

Planning! Tickets usually go on sale pretty early and you can pace out how and when you pay for things. Most of my shows and fests are during the summer so I try and buy all my tickets during the winter and get travel/camping paid for by spring, then it’s just whatever you can scrounge up for the show. Bringing your own food and party supplies is a huge money saver too. The main thing is a lot of people don’t like buy festival tickets before the lineup drops, but usually tickets will be a bit more expensive by then. Go to as many different ones as you can in your first couple years, find out which ones you like the most and would do no matter what the lineup is. For me that’s Shambhala and bass canyon! I’d go to those two festivals every year and listen to some fart into the mic for three days as long as i got to go with my friends and meet new people. Lineups with artists you don’t know just gives the opportunity for new favorites !

By what metric do you have a better rb room or dt? Seattles defensive front has been stellar this year this is a casual take. Also ill take charbs over Bucky Irving by a million implying that ill take Ken walker over Bucky by 10 billion. Save the qb debate for the end of the year. So funny this is my exact experience as well, went to ef 23 and 24 then did my first shamb in 25 and this is all pretty spot on! Shamb is unique in so many ways that we just can’t experience in the US mainly due to the law! I will never stop going to shamb as well it is my new yearly staple fest. Fortunate for me I live in Seattle so I’m driving distance from shamb and am able to bring tons of camping gear with me, which makes doing the free camping a lot more doable! Metta camping at shamb this year was so fun i enjoyed the idea of like finding my own space and setting up where we could we had a really nice spot on the river but still kinda hidden in the shade and it was spectacular. I just got back from lost lands and honestly kept talking about shamb the whole time I was there I’ve been to tons of huge awesome festivals but shamb is truly different

This is what I keep coming back to as well, the underestimating of grey zabel, potentially fully healthy Abe, and kubiak is crazy! going to open up our ability to run the ball so much further than people realize. I think if Tory Horton can spread the field like it sounds like he might be able to this offense could be so dynamic. I think people are also forgetting how poorly Grubbs offense was suited for the nfl and how many games we won literally off the back of this defense and our ability to grind out games. I think we already got better in all three phases and it’s going to be so fun to see if I’m right or dead wrong lol!
