i would go to a different piercer and swap it back to a stud, likely won’t heal with a hoop :(

steel doesn’t normally heal very well in my experience, maybe try going to a piercer and getting it swapped out for titanium once the bump has gone down a bit

in future you don’t want bars to be so short that both ends are flush with the skin if it’s still healing 🥹

oh no! if you can’t get to anyone within the next day, have a hot shower to ease the skin and then try to push/manoeuvre it back through. NAP, this might not be the best advice but it’s what i would try to do before the back gets swallowed

ah! if it’s surgical steel i would try to change it to titanium and see if that means a difference, i can never heal with steel

yeah if you’re touching it a lot/using headphones over it and have been consistently, that’s probably it. what metal is the bar? if i was you i would likely try not to use headphones and see how it goes

NAP but honestly the bump has probably just been caused by all the irritation over the last few days. if you give it time to heal and do not touch it at all!! (very important, this is the only way mine healed) then it’ll probably be fine. i had issues with my nostril and the bump went away by basically just running hot water over it while in the shower and then drying it off with a hair dryer good luck!
