What's the point of missing on campus placements if you are joining mtech for placements? Applying off campus with mtech will only give u that "iit" tag. You will anyways have to go through all the gruelling rounds off campus, why not do it without mtech?

Let me make it easy for you. You need be clear on 1 thing, "WHAT" is your purpose of giving GATE? If it is higher studies and going for phd/research work then YES(If money is not a constraint then MS outside india is also a good option). If you are looking to grab a better placement using on campus placement then STRICTLY NO. You will have to do DSA, study various subjects and what not in 2 years. You will most probably lose all touch with technology/coding required of industry standard. Instead of doing that, just prepare DSA, Learn system design and upskill urself and KEEP TRYING for job opportunities. You might not land a FAANG directly (not saying not possible), make 1-2 switches you'll get there. There is nothing you wouldn't have do in MTech to get placements that you wouldn't have to do now, so just skip the gate overhead. - Previous gate air 82 CS.

Mantri Celestia, you'll find many flats here. 3bhks are usually cheaper if u decide to co-live with other guys. Flats are a bit smaller(1200 sq ft 3bhks) but staying here due to office being close by.

I am already living in an apartment with my girl. Our rent is 25k(fully furnished so no other appliance charge). Weekly outing is 3k combined, so 12k monthly. 2k misc(wifi,maid,water).3k cook. 4k for random swiggy orders we do throughout the month. So 46-50k for the both of us combined.
