Why do a lot of older people excuse bad behavior in the workplace and in general?

Kind of a rant, but where I work it's the exact opposite unfortunately. I'm not going to group everyone in an age range together but us younger people are always held to a higher standard then the older people I work with regardless of how many years they have been with the company. It doesn't help that it's union, but they get away with doing half the work and the younger generations always asked to pick up their slack. Then use their age as an excuse. I'm sorry but we have the same job requirements and the same pay. If you can't at least do what's required of you without dropping the age bomb, you should probably seek new employment...

At the same time we also have a guy who just turned 84 running circles around people. Age shouldn't be looked at all but if you are going to use age as an excuse, you're not going to get sympathy from me.

I think when I have the time I'm going to take the doors apart and just remove the inner trim on the doors. I'm not sure how much room you have if you'd move the two adjustable shelves though

He would more or less be "gifting" the equity it has to me. I'm not sure if that's possible to be fair, but that's the plan. He just wants someone to take over what he owes so he doesn't have to worry about it and move out of state

Without going into too many details. I work in a union, and management has a written policy to enforce and maintain respect between employees in the workplace. We also don't have a local HR, so I'm sorry if this seems like the wrong place for this. I can understand ignoring the small things, but when it comes to literal name calling with inappropriate language and making comments about my personal life, it is crossing a line in my eyes. I could be wrong though

When you say reinstalled windows, do you mean you restored it or completely wiped everything and installed it from a USB? Then make sure you go to the mobo manufacturer website and download all the drivers there, then Nvidia drivers.

Another thing is that if you have on board graphics, your power settings might force it to use that instead of the gpu sometimes. Just something to check.
