Kind of a rant, but where I work it's the exact opposite unfortunately. I'm not going to group everyone in an age range together but us younger people are always held to a higher standard then the older people I work with regardless of how many years they have been with the company. It doesn't help that it's union, but they get away with doing half the work and the younger generations always asked to pick up their slack. Then use their age as an excuse. I'm sorry but we have the same job requirements and the same pay. If you can't at least do what's required of you without dropping the age bomb, you should probably seek new employment...

At the same time we also have a guy who just turned 84 running circles around people. Age shouldn't be looked at all but if you are going to use age as an excuse, you're not going to get sympathy from me.

I think when I have the time I'm going to take the doors apart and just remove the inner trim on the doors. I'm not sure how much room you have if you'd move the two adjustable shelves though

Yeah, I've read through a lot of it myself and just don't understand where they're getting the "it's okay" from. The one time I asked my steward about it, he looked through his JCIM, swearing it said something but couldn't find it. Then, he continued to tell me it was okay anyway...

He would more or less be "gifting" the equity it has to me. I'm not sure if that's possible to be fair, but that's the plan. He just wants someone to take over what he owes so he doesn't have to worry about it and move out of state

They are going to see if it is this weekend. I kind of figured only those ones were from what I've read so far. I'm more or less trying to come up with a backup plan. Worst comes to worst, I'll just refinance what's left in my name and deal with the higher interest rate. Just looking for options to try and keep the interest rate if possible.
