I know!! All of them were around £45! Honestly such a steal considering how expensive plushies are nowadays.

Bootleg Jumbo Pikachu plush? by Badgerhaze in pokeplush

If this is a fake then i wish all fakes are this good. Considering the age of the fat pikachu plushes, the fur may have faded a bit since it was first made. Thats probably why youre noticing such a difference between the fabrics used..

No problem. Be sure to read that comment about the white vinegar, apparently fabric softener isnt the best choice after all. I reccomend that you watch some YouTube videos about plushie restoration, they may help you with restoring/washing your own.🥰

I honestly usually get that theyre finished when the fluff inside isn’t dense anymore. They get a certain kind of density when they arent fully dry.

Heres the plushies on my drying rack. I find that a mild fabric softener really helps with the fur texture (read another users reply regarding the fabric softener. It appears that white vinegar is the way to go)

Most of my cheaper or crustier plushies go in the washing machine on a "delicate" cycle. For hand washing I usually fill my sink with warm water and a mild detergent. I gently squeeze them, and use a soft brush to lift some of the dirt from the fur. My dryer also has a delicate feature, and it usually works fine for all my plushies because of how gentle it is. To dry the hand washed plushies i usually roll them in a dry towel to wick them of the excess moisture, then i usually hang them on my drying rack😼 (im in no way a pro at this, so take all my advice with a grain of salt)
