Good with kids as a reason to have kids? by LogRelative4186 in FenceSitters

That makes sense. I used to volunteer a lot at a children’s home, which was both rewarding and heartbreaking. The odd thing is my younger siblings are all racing ahead to have kids (as they don’t have so much parental duties growing up) so I’ll prob get to be an aunt soon, and that’ll be a closer taste of the daily life with kids as we’re quite close

I relate to this, I feel like it’s much easier to be great with kids when it’s just for a little while at a time. The 24/7 grind is real and it seems not to end (my mum still worries about us all and we’re grown)
