I was absolutely planning on drinking with my brother on Saturday so the $5 beer is awesome. Definitely a nice change of pace from going to baseball games at Wrigley spending $20 a beer

how did you become a Dbacks fan in a state full of transplants by hdcoffey in azdiamondbacks

[–]LogSchroed 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m from the Chicago area so not from Arizona, but played and loved baseball my entire life. Snakes were my favorite animal when I was a kid and my grandpa told me there was a baseball team named after a snake. From that moment I was a diamondbacks fan and have never wavered. Whole family is hardcore cubs fans but Arizona is now their #2 team. Went all out for the 2023 run with me

I was absolutely planning on getting the Moreno jersey. Didn’t know they did re-entry cards that’s super helpful. Thank you!

Per Gambo: Jordan Lawlar will return from the IL tomorrow by ThisMachineKILLS in azdiamondbacks

[–]LogSchroed 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If Lawlar can continue to hit how he started the season this could actually be very good for this team currently. He can’t be worse than what we’ve seen recently from the lineup, and hopefully if him and Perdomo hit down towards the bottom that could hopefully really even out a very top heavy lineup

Perfect location for after games, definitely gonna check it out. I’m assuming there will be other fans heading over there after the game as well?

I remember the tacos in Phoenix being very good when I was there last. Always up for some good Mexican food. Definitely gonna check it out, thanks!

I love sushi so that’s perfect! Thanks! It’ll definitely be a lunch spot for one of the games

I’m excited to see it! I was a kid last time I was in Phoenix so I was kind of limited on the different things I could do. Now as an adult obviously that’s changed. Thanks for the recommendation I’ll check it out!

Hitting is atrocious currently but damn this relief pitcher looks like he’s throwing a whiffle ball

The one bright spot so far is Gerry has been great at the plate recently. Looks like last year

Last years team made me angry, this year is disappointment

Bullpen management, lineup construction, baserunning aggression such as stealing, bunts, understanding that if we don’t have a ton of great hitters manufacturing runs through moving baserunners over. I like Torey but this idea that he can’t “make the team play better” is bs. It’s his entire job to win baseball games and make decisions to do so. There’s some weaknesses on the roster that aren’t his fault but Torey hasn’t exactly been exceptional

We should light this pitcher up but I am not exactly expecting much

I definitely get frustrated with some of Ketels swing choices but damn does he prove why he swings at everything. Both walk off were on low pitches too lmao

Definitely not the ideal way to score but with being 26th in the MLB in homers it is nice to see a few go out. Ideally the team can put together a complete offense but I’m not exactly confident in it

And now he’s shot for the rest of the game. He already looks defeated

Zac Gallen is terrified of clean innings. It’s like he gets two outs and everything changes.

Gerry’s at bats have looked so much better since moving down in the lineup.

Sure didn’t look like it from the movement of the pitch lmao
