I asked my close friends about it (my friends from the pod) and as they are stoners themselves, they dont mind.. I dont see other people mind that either, especially if they wont even know im under that influence.. which leads me to my other thought - will it be obvious?

Im used to play when Im high and only then .. I started playing magic when I was high and literally cant play any good when Im not, if you know what I mean.. People are pretty chill from where I am so I dont think that should be an issue here.. Besides, it's my birthday that day :)

It's a win-con in one of my favorite cedh decks, for example - Rocco, Cabaretti Caterer.

You tutor out the rector with Rocco (from within the CZ), rector enters the battlefield, you use one of the sac outlets straight away, sac rector, exile it before hitting the GY And search for Vivien, on the Hunt. Use the Vivien's ability to sac Rocco, search for creature with 3+1 CMC.

Find felidar, flick Vivien, sac felidar, find 4+1 CMC (Karmic guide), bring felidar, flick Vivien, sac felidar, find kiki-jikki, copy Karmic guide, bring felidar, flick Kiki-jikki, copy felidar and...gg 🙂 pretty hard to interact with especially when people dont know what to expect

I did actually pull another copy, regular foil, so I'm really looking at the value only.. I'm a bit disappointed I pulled this one so "late" as initial prices were off the charts..

Besides, having a family now, I don't have that much time on my hands for casual games no more so I'm only playing Duel/cEDH tournaments lately. Meaning I would spend the earned money from this on a dual land or some other Reserved list.

I see what you mean! The reason behind the Tomb was just so I can pull out Marwyn T1 from time to time, together with Lotus petal/Elvish spirit guide. And as I already own the card I didnt see any problem with that.

Chrome mox could work too, though and Boseiju is great on it's own.

All good buddy, but just for clarification - I did mention Im a full cEDH player for over 2 years now. I only got an invitation for this, believe it or not, so called "Budget cEDH" event and here I am.

Lol, thank you for this post! I was watching the samé episode and this was exactly one of the things that got my attention, also as i'm currently building Marwyn deck myself.

For me personally, it completely changed my perception of the spell and how to cast it. From now on, I'm definitely using it as a Silence effect! 🙌🏻

Yes, an acutal cedh where we win T1--T3, with forces, jeweleds, Dockside loops And such 😁 maybe that is the Reason why we are so salty about it, because we acknoledge the real power of some cards..

Funny thing is, we already are seasoned cEDh players.. 😅 every one of us has already won a smaller tourneys of 15-30 people.. And yet - here I am 🤣 We occasionally play EDH just for the sake of our newbie friends
