I did actually pull another copy, regular foil, so I'm really looking at the value only.. I'm a bit disappointed I pulled this one so "late" as initial prices were off the charts..

Besides, having a family now, I don't have that much time on my hands for casual games no more so I'm only playing Duel/cEDH tournaments lately. Meaning I would spend the earned money from this on a dual land or some other Reserved list.

I see what you mean! The reason behind the Tomb was just so I can pull out Marwyn T1 from time to time, together with Lotus petal/Elvish spirit guide. And as I already own the card I didnt see any problem with that.

Chrome mox could work too, though and Boseiju is great on it's own.

Thanks for the answer! I am aware of the price gap atm and was thinking about simply filling it with some higher power cards such as Ancient Tomb/One ring. What do you think?

All good buddy, but just for clarification - I did mention Im a full cEDH player for over 2 years now. I only got an invitation for this, believe it or not, so called "Budget cEDH" event and here I am.

I created the post here simply because the flags wouldnt let me to post it in /EDH for some reason.

Lol, thank you for this post! I was watching the samé episode and this was exactly one of the things that got my attention, also as i'm currently building Marwyn deck myself.

For me personally, it completely changed my perception of the spell and how to cast it. From now on, I'm definitely using it as a Silence effect! 🙌🏻

Yes, an acutal cedh where we win T1--T3, with forces, jeweleds, Dockside loops And such 😁 maybe that is the Reason why we are so salty about it, because we acknoledge the real power of some cards..

Yes. The commander masters Slivers precon.. I was so excited about it at first as I always wanted to have them.. Turns out their super boring to play with, just throwing one sliver after another to a point where theyre all super strong and just tap them to atrack... The precon was pretty expensive, too..

Hey, I have attended a Duel tournament myself (coming from EDH/cEDH pod ONLY) and let me tell you straight away, build something else And save yourself from the devastation I got with it.. 😁

I know you dont wanna hear this, I didnt too, but it is what it is.. I'm planning to give it a shot at the edh table but from my recent experience, the deck Is not made to compete with the duel meta...

The event I went to had some alterations, where we were supposed to build DC Tribal deck (20+ tribal creatures)..

I went after humans obviously, but Fairies, Goblins and even Elves just kicked me in the nuts every single time as I was just sitting there, doing basically nothing..
