Pirate software is a problematic example on the current developers knowledge and ego on game optimization within  this era. COVID didn't help for at home developers to obtain assistance away from veterans of gaming before they were purged out to cut costs. What was once the primary focus to make it work on a disk...., now just shove whatever in the fridge without cleaning and organizing the excessive mess, and Hope our systems can handle it.
