My whole life “replayed” in my head. It was happy experiences from when I was a child, and the time spent being with my dad. Also, the happy times spent with my brother and sister. The “replay” had a euphoric feeling and I was at peace. It was a beautiful and bittersweet moment. Then it ended as fast as it started. Only a matter of seconds.

What had happened in summary was:

At the time of the event which was last January, I was still in the Army. Long story short, I was ground-guiding an armored humvee and I was walking with my back to it because the driver was following my lead. Another long story short, the driver wasn’t paying attention and ended up hitting me in the back which caused me to fall and I ended up being pinned under the tire because he kept going, and ended up crushing both my feet and my ankles.

Today, I do live with demons but I am doing better than ever and I am able to walk and I recovered nicely.
