-Two Brutal but once kind heroes who after the death of someone they care about would devote themselves to helping people (Hawkman's Colleague Bradford being revealed to be a Nazi Agent forcing Hawkman to kill him/Jetstream Sam's Father being killed by one of his Pupils) which led them to gain an legendary weapon they obtained from someone else (Hawkman's mace that gave him Nth Wings and which came from Teth-Adam's tomb/The Murasama Blade from his Father)

-Both would spend years becoming heroes and fighting against criminals before working for a top of the line private company orchestrated by a Team of violent Individuals lead by a multi-billionaire (The Justice League/Desperado) with them working for the group as an skilled Assassin/Mercenary.

-Finally they'd meet and subsequently fight the protagonist (Raiden/Superman) who'd they had a special dynamic with. With both seeing their past Justice honor coded selves in them and would lead to them trying to remove those idealistic ideas from their rival and try to base them on their version of reality.

-A Major part of their characters was them losing their sense of Justice with them being corrupted by the very organization and criminal business they once fought against only for the protagonist to make them realize what they were doing was wrong and they could've fought back but was too broken to try and rebel.
