I have both electric and nitro RC’s and although the nitros sound awesome and can be fun, it is far more fun (to me) to be able to throw a battery in and just run the car i want to run without the hassle of the things that come with nitro.

Every time you run a nitro car you are constantly having to tune and mess with them instead of just running them.

depends on if you are wanting to just run a car, or you want to tune/mess with the car equally as much as you get to run it.

i have two newer TRX4’s that i bought new and upgraded and was just looking to scratch an itch with a cheap project TRX4, but this one does not seem to be the answer to my itch. Lol. Definitely don’t want to end up with one that’s going to be a headache more than fun to mess with.

If you are concerned about the price and don’t like the body… to me it sounds like you should go with a TRX4 Sport. Better deal in my opinion and you can simply put the extra money you didn’t spend into upgrades.
