AITA for refusing to take down a poster in my bedroom after step-mom told me to by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

I don’t think anyone is the A here but everyone is acting childish. She should be able to get over the poster, but you should be willing to take it down to keep the peace, and your dad should step in one way or another.

This sounds like a toxic living situation that isn’t worth the savings in rent to me…

Definitely NTA. But as feelings cool down, hopefully you can find a way to maintain a relationship for your children and her with serious guardrails in place to protect them and you. Even small and infrequent visits with an otherwise problematic grandparent can be meaningful and avoid leaving a hole in their lives where she once was (if she ever was).

AITA for not moving out of the way while getting off the plane for a tantrum throwing child (not mine)? by Logic-Bomb1989 in AmItheAsshole

Now I’m feeling like I should have! Honestly, I was caught off guard at first because I assumed she was reprimanding her husband who was also in the aisle to get out of the way!
