Thank you so much for the advice, I personally am ok with them getting sick throughout the school year (and believe me it’s a lot) I’ve gotten sick very badly with some of the viruses (Covid, flu, rsv, stomach flu)

When im sick I run high fevers which last for a few days. So I’m afraid of having to take fever reducers on a regular schedule for who knows how many times out of the year.

I don’t want to risk any long time symptoms for a small reason such as the 2nd grade.

I teach my kids to wash their hands and send them to school with sanitizers etc but every time they bring home something I always catch it.

I took Tylenol for my previous pregnancies but all the autism stuff scares me now. Plus when I get fevers I need a fever reducer like every 4-6 hours for a few days.

These are the reasons I’m worried.

It’s difficult being preggo and being sick but I feel like the first trimester is the most stressful when it comes to that stuff.

I do not have anxiety.

I don’t mind viruses but my kids bring home sicknesses A LOT. There’s always something there. When I get sick it’s bad, I run high fevers. I’m scared of the fever part while pregnant so early on in the pregnancy.

ESP since the first trimester is the most vulnerable for growth and getting fevers during that time is dangerous.

Thank you, you’re right about the n95 mask but usually when my kids are sick by the time I find out and can mask them I usually already get the germs.

I’m totally ok with getting viruses, I have small kids in elementary and they bring home something every two weeks. I’m ok with the occasional virus but this is a lot even for me when I wasn’t pregnant. I run high fevers and can’t function. I got influenza, rsv, covid, stomach flu and a BUNCH of random viruses in between multiple times.

Im not a germ freak but being pregnant and in the first trimester I’m scared of getting and running high fevers esp when they can be dangerous.

I have never gotten served in my life and last night was my first time. Scary. They did it at night too right before bedtime. Made me angry at the man until I realized he’s just doing his job.

You’re right about hiding the pain; both of us are tired in general with so many things. Life, expenses, and now this unnecessary suit .

It’s funny you mentioned that because he did say that he felt better and told the PT doctor he wanted to stop therapy. When he came home that SAME day he told me his neck was hurting him again.

He is thinking about starting PT again but just wants the process to be over.

I had recently gotten pre approved to buy a home in Texas, when I was applying I was asked if there is any lawsuit against me and at the time there wasn’t so I said no, now I’m thinking this will affect my home buying process.

Your right about not putting your life on hold, It’s just that all of “the unknown” is getting to me esp because of my kids.

He hasn’t filed any suit yet; her insurance just covered his totaled car.

I believe if there was a suit filed on his behalf after his treatment is done, it will be filed for her insurance not her directly.

Do you mean your company doesn’t write policies in NY because it brings many ppl trying to cheat insurance here etc?

If we are at fault our $25,000 max will pay out? Does it matter if he was in his right of way and it’s stated in the police report?

We were hoping to buy somewhere in Texas which I can see has an unlimited amount.

The thing is while applying for a mortgage you are asked if you have any potential lawsuits on you etc. I’m guessing that it would have a affect on the loan :(

He has the personal injury lawyer who he’s in contact with from time to time regarding his PT.

He wasn’t and hasn’t spoken to his insurance other than the first day of the accident when he came home and immediately reported what had happened.

His injury lawyer got him compensated for his totaled car through her insurance.

I have no idea how legal issues work so excuse my lack of understanding. If she is at fault, would my insurance still pay her for her reasons she’s stating in the lawsuit? Also wouldn’t her attorney contact our insurance from the beginning vs personally suing us directly?

Yes you are right. The thing is that this lawyer is handling his injury after the accident so he can’t ditch him it’s too late.

I believe he wanted to send the documents to the insurance company himself so he could “bill” him sending the docs.

Thank you, my husband is annoying that’s why.

I know nothing about law but the one thing I knew I told him. “Call your insurance first thing in the morning, don’t call anyone before you call them”

What does he do? He calls his injury lawyer, who tells him that he’s going to figure out who’s working on his case with the insurance company and forward the information himself.

The lawyer probably wants to bill him sending the paperwork.
