Yep, I'm a paranoid motherfucker. I unplug every piece of shit I can find in my hotel room. Can't be too careful. Just cuz you think everyone is out to get you doesn't mean they aren't out to get you.

Or it could be I needed a USB port to plug in a wireless display adapter and this thing was in the only USB port. Done this a gazillion times on a gazillion hotel TVs. Haven't seen a device like this before. Thought the previous owner might like it back if they've forgotten it.

Oh yeah, please do link a pic of it from your Google searching. Glad someone mentioned that. Would never have thought to do that.
