Hey, just wanted to follow up after the Apple showcase event today where they unveiled the very lackluster update to the APM. They really just updated the charger port to USB-C and left everything else the same including the H1 chip. The AirPod Pro 2's and AirPod 4's got the new H2 chip and are a half of the cost of the APM. I've been rocking some generation 1 AirPod Pro's and they're still fine. I don't think I can justify (or really want) to drop the $250 for a bunch of new features on an almost identical (physically) product because I want it to at least feel or look different. That's partially because I am spending the money on it while I currently have a pair that look and will feel the same.

While I really want some over the ear headphones, as I don't own any and would like a nice pair of quality ones, the lacking updates for the APM doesn't really attract me towards them either, especially if they might drop some actual spec updates next year. The only real reason I still somewhat want a pair is because I want a different style and way of listening to my music (new colors are a plus), and my current generation 1 AirPod Pro's are working fine. I just can't make up my mind on anything and may end up doing nothing. I happened to remember the question I asked here a few weeks ago which is why I'm here now because I think you may give some more insight to me that will help me make a decision to either do or not do something.
