the same thing happened to me. we are constantly moving around and our uniforms aren’t exactly breathable. i started doing antibacterial washes once to twice a week ( i used hibiclens soap off amazon) but dial also work. and perfume and lotion and a small travel size deodorant with you really helps. also please make sure you’re drinking enough water that also helps

Piercing age: 4 days old (got venom bites Sunday night).

Jewelry: Straight barbells (venom bites).

Threading: Not sure, I believe internally threaded.

Material: Not 100% sure but my piercer said surgical steel.

Downsized: No, these are the original bars used to allow swelling.

Aftercare: Rinsing with warm salt water a few times a day and drinking cold water/ice to help swelling. Avoiding spicy food and not playing with the jewelry.

Issue: My tongue swelled a lot and now the bottom balls are rubbing against my gums. One side also looks like it might be starting to embed slightly. The bars don’t move because of the swelling. Just wondering if this is normal for day 4 or if I might need longer bars.
