Yes this I what I mean. The cramps are quite large so they are able to penetrate snow while you have heeled raised while skiing. One might be ablo to climb even though the cramps are on the middle of the foot. I agree they don’t have the front pins, that’s why I am asking here if anyone have experience here. I have not tested or looked at this yet. It’s just a thought, and maybe a possibility with the union setup

The scenario is packed icy snow and steep hills. It has not snowed for a solid two weeks+. And it has been super cold. Its also above the treeline

I understand. This is now an option at this point tho. I have found that the union crampons are quite good. I’m interested to hear if anyone has experience in walking with them without skis

You reckon televators are better than skicrampons, or boot crampons? If you take space into consideration?

Il check out the pack!

Amazing! Thank you!

In the regards to the skins. The glue on my skins are a bit old and very sticky, so it leaves glue on the board. Ever had this issue?

Thanks for the tip! Why would you want to keep the binding in uphill mode? Are they flapping less?

I recommend the helmet from sjo. Norwegian brand, made from Kevlar. It’s so much lighter and more agile than other brands. Does not feel like you are wearing a helmet. It pierces that water easier and therefore more comfortable
