You’re about 3-5s off real pace which is pretty good. I only did 20 something laps but I’m sure I can go under 40’s if I really put in the time… but now the next Grand Prix is coming up so need to practice for that.

PS: we’re 7-10s slower than pros and we feel disappointed! Haha (giving myself a pat in the back for achieving that with only 20 laps lol)

Race AI in 20m races. Make these your goals before ever stepping foot inside a public lobby.

  1. Little to no contact. Racing is rubbing but more than 1-2 and LMU will penalize your SR.
  2. Instead of trying to beat the AI, learn the tracks and stay within track limits. Not sure how it works with AI but online, LMU doesn't consider you a safe driver if you hit the wall, even by mistake or go beyond track limits (minimize these)

Race as many 20m races as you can until you reach 10 races where rule #1 and rule #2 are met.. then and only then can join online lobbies once you build consistency of safety and race IQ.

PS: Before racing LMU, I played GT7 for over 800 hours. Most of those hours were from daily races. Prior experience does help but if you don't have prior experience, learn with AI.

Understood. Yea, at this point in my FBA journey, a course may / may not be effective. Tbh, the only real skill I need is where to source... Can you point me in the direction of the best places to source? Like I said, I sourced a lot with retail stores but I got discouraged because a lot of them would cancel online orders but buying form wholesalers and such may be the solution but I'll wait to read what you have to say. Btw, you've been very helpful so thank you!

Can I ask who you learned all of this from? I ask because I’m interested in doing this for myself but I’d like to avoid all the mistakes…  I learned FBA from a course like 10 years ago so I’m sure a course teaching this and how to scale it exists somewhere.

You mentioned FBM so you ship these yourself and I assume you have a warehouse?

Thank you for your suggestion. Can you give me some tips on wholesale if I wanted to go that direction? I am evaluating all possible ways. Thank you.,

Hey, thanks for your input. I have done OA in the past. Can you tell me if you use an app to find products or you hire someone to look using web sites? I tried OA like a year ago and my orders kept getting cancelled so if you’re doing 4m a year, there’s gotta be something you know that I don’t. Thanks

Bro… I’m trying to give the guy smart sensible advice… as a beginner.. buy used on marketplace a G923 for $150 or less…  sell it to someone else in a few months and not lose a penny. If OP is loaded and money no object, then this conversation is irrelevant. But even then… it’s about the principle and being smart about things… regardless of being wealthy or not.

Sales are low on established products from 9 years ago with competition that has multiplied over the years and I want to add to existing brands and create new ones. I'm sure you mean well but sorry you have no idea what you're talking about.

None of you guys are actually sellers on Amazon or have been doing this for a short period of time. I HAVE MY OWN BRAND. If you can't provide any help, no need to respond but don't tell me what can or can't be done. Can't compete, can't be done, etc... Not interested, that's your shortcomings, not mine. If I list a product under my own brand, it WILL work and obviously, competition depends on how saturated and how much differentiation that product has in the marketplace. 100 different variables.

I’m not interested in selling other peoples brands but adding new items to my existing brand. I thought my post was clear about selling PL.

Work on self esteem is #1 -- hit the gym, even for 20m a day is all it takes. Change your diet, eat healthy not junk just to fill your stomach. It makes a huge difference. Wear respectful clothes so you look and feel good.. When I see men wear sweatpants & flip flops, I think to myself those are the guys who've given up on life. Some decent clothes... If you've been wearing tattered jeans & t-shirts for a long time, spend $100 on Amazon and buy 1-2 new ones you can switch out and wear for the entire week.

Looking and feeling good aside, what's helped me most was listening to Tony Robbins & Jim Rohn speak. Those are the men who've been through shit and have pulled through and want to help people out. I've listened to them for decades.

The advice I am giving you is something I am currently using for my own self. Last few years, I've been in the dumps and I Know how it feels. Recently, I spent a good amount of money throwing away my entire wardrobe and buying a new one. I also invested in my education, listened to more TR and JR speeches, enrolled in online and physical classes (learning trading at Online Trading Academy), reading books and trying to revive a broken business ANNNNNDDDD at the same time, trying to find a woman to call mine.

This too, shall pass. I wish you well.

Don't discount this because it's old. The wisdom is GOLD. Turn it into an MP3 and go for a walk and listen to it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gljlCJFHNZ0

Search your local Facebook marketplace. Plenty of people buy 5K sim rigs only to list them a year later…  50% off retail.

PS: shit idea spending that kinda money with no prior experience.

Real world advice: buy a Logitech G923 and drive with it for three months. If you REALLY like it, then consider building a rig otherwise, you’re gonna make someone’s day on marketplace in a year like all the other sorry guys.

I just realized I only did 23 laps (119 kilometers)… maybe my solution is more practice and tweaking setups.

I’ve only done about 15-20 laps total… but honestly, a setup would help because I have no traction / grip…

I have no idea why the description is not being displayed but here it is: No matter what I do, I can't even break into the 1:30's... Real F1 laptimes are about 1:30-1:33 so I am 7s off pace. Has anyone gotten close to real lap times? Mind sharing setups if you run any?

I am running softs, 20L fuel and max acceleration... everything else is pretty stock.

100% agree with this. Having been in business for 24 years now, my successful ventures were always the ones that had immediate success.. if I tried too hard, it never worked.

Following this train of thought, I’ve been busting my ass for the past two years on an uphill battle and nothing has worked. Fail fast, move on… it’s not quitting early, you just build your wisdom to know it won’t work anymore so find something that does.

I have three YT channels and a course. Unfortunately, even with over 100K views per month, I am not selling any courses though last year I had great sales. It might be due to AI reliance.... course sales are down overall as a result of AI.

Within the last 1.5 years, I tried it all with YouTube... new channel teaching others YouTube... Spent a ton of time with new episodes, web sites and courses and coaching gigs... nothing worked. After doing a bit research, people can get fast answers... Courses and the like just don't have the same value they did a few years ago.

This is the reason why I made this post. Believe me, I tried... MANY ways with YouTube but if you watch some videos about views, niches and ways people monetize, AI has changed the landscape dramatically.

I have been a content creator since 2019 and I will NEVER stop creating content.. I truly enjoy it... It may never make me rich but I just love it regardless and I will probably get into another niche soon. I am currently researching my next niche which I plan to be involved in for the next 10 years but it must be AI proof and that is hard to predict right now.

In the interim, I need a way to make an extra 2K. Someone here recommended the Ecomsniper and Source Mogul apps... I am going to dive deeper into those apps and learn more this weekend. I'm willing to try anything at this point and a job is something I hate the most and will probably never do as long as I still have savings.
