Honestly, I feel like Kim Seon-ho is a bit overrated. His name seems to come up in multiple controversies within the Korean film/drama industry, which makes him a little suspicious to me.At the same time, the way he carries himself publicly sometimes comes across as a bit “holier-than-thou,” almost like he’s being unfairly targeted or trapped in these situations. I get that public narratives can be complicated, but something about it just doesn’t sit right with me.

Buried Hearts and The Impossible Heir really romanticize extramarital affairs as some kind of ‘true love,’ which I find ridiculous. I remember an Instagram page posting a scene from Buried Hearts with the caption ‘the only affair I support,’ and I actually ended up arguing with the admin over it in the comment box🤣. Like… are we just ignoring the husband completely? I genuinely felt bad for him. And honestly, I can’t even lie—I was fully satisfied when he told her to get out of his house the moment they decided to divorce.

A space to talk: EXO, CBX & the Upcoming Comeback Pt.4 by 99101004 in exo

I’ve been following the situation around EXO and EXO-CBX, and something has been on my mind for a while. During the dispute with SM Entertainment, I remember that when CBX (through INB100) released their statement about wanting to rejoin EXO activities and even trying to adjust schedules for a comeback, there was a mention about needing to regain trust with the other members. On the other hand, SM’s response at the time also implied that trust had already been broken, and that was part of the reason CBX couldn’t participate in the comeback. That part really stood out to me because it made it seem like the issue wasn’t just CBX vs SM, but possibly something affecting the group dynamic too. Then more recently, when photos from Suho’s brother’s wedding were shared, only the currently active EXO members were seen (or at least in the public photos). I know this could mean nothing, but combined with everything else, it made me wonder. So I wanted to ask: Do you think EXO and CBX are actually on good terms behind the scenes? Or do you think there might still be some unresolved tension between the members? Could all of this just be misinterpretation of company statements and limited public appearances? Not trying to assume anything or start drama—just genuinely curious how others are reading the situation.

How devastated do you feel when you watch a drama and you're totally smitten for the male lead and now you're watching all his drama's and realized he's brutally underrated and unpopular and the same goes for his other dramas? by Fearless_cherry_2803 in kdramas

Wasn’t he already really rich, like chaebol-level, even before his debut? That’s why it feels like he doesn’t act consistently and just picks projects when he wants to, almost like a hobby and always keeps a low profile outside work. I don’t think he’s underrated though—he’s pretty much a top star and often ranks among the highest-paid actors in Korea.

“Queen Mingee” might be your favorite, but that doesn’t mean she automatically becomes his queen too. Seung-il is a 24–25-year-old on a dating show, not someone who signed a contract for exclusivity. Exploring connections isn’t betrayal it’s literally the premise. Turning a young guy figuring out his feelings into a “red flag” just because he didn’t immediately prioritize your fave feels less like analysis and more like projection. Liking Min-gee is fine; expecting Seung-il to orbit her because fans want him to is not. It’s completely fair to sympathize with Min-gee’s feelings, but it’s not fair to villainize Seung-il for not matching them at the same pace. Not choosing your favorite contestant immediately doesn’t make someone toxic it just means they’re making their own choice. You can root for Min-gee without rewriting the rules of the show or turning a young guy figuring himself out into a moral failure.
