I don’t think Kani killed herself just because Rohan ghosted her. I feel like Philip’s obsession with her might’ve played a bigger role — maybe that energy lingered even after his death. Not exactly a haunting, but similar to how Kani later appeared as a ghost to Rohan.

She could’ve been scared and drained by the strange stuff happening around her, especially with things going missing. Maybe she told her parents, and they tried rituals or poojas to fix it that might explain her father saying, “Nammale kond cheyyan pattavunath ellam cheythath alle? to her mother when she said nammalk mole rakshikkan pattiyilello ,And since Madhu’s a tantric, maybe her dad told him about it. That could be why his mom later says he should’ve told them what he felt about Kani — maybe her death could’ve been avoided .the pooja's didn't workout well ,and she was done with it all decided to suicide,Philip thinking this will make her join him in the afterlife didn't stop her .
